Surrender

You are my Lord. 

In whom I place all my trust.

 Not only that but you're the God I love.

 I need you, Holy Ghost. 

I need you most. 

In you I put all my hopes and dreams because in you I find out what it means to be alive. 

Serenity.

 Peace.

 These needs I have.

 These things I seek.

 I want your presence. 

And I want you, God. Teach me how to follow you better. 

Teach me how to be with you through any weather. 

Storms.

 Valleys. 

Mountains. 

Stillness. 

I need you in it all because you are the lord over all.

 Jesus, Jesus. 

There's just something about your name that brings such peace and serenity. 

In all my anxieties and worries and fears and concerns you are God. 

You hear my every cry and whisper and you know me. 

Through and through. 

I know of a place of rest. 

And I know of a moment of peace. 

And it's all in you. 

Because it's all about you. 

How can I love you more? 

How can I serve you better? 

How can I be with you forever? 

Teach me how to love the things you love. 

Teach me how to seek the ways of your heart and to hate the dark and to love the light. 

God, come to me. 

I come to you.

 Meet me where I am and transform my every thought and every fiber in my being. 

I want to be more like you. 

I praise you, God. 

I worship and adore you and I want to know more of you. 

Jesus, my King. I thing I seek and ask is that I can spend all the days of my life with you.

 Loving you and loving my neighbor. 

Reconcile me to my brothers and sisters. 

Reconcile me into yourself. 

Help me. 

Heal me. 

Love me. 

Seal me.

 I need you God.

 Please come. 

I invite you into my space and invite you into my heart and invite you into my life. 

Because I've seen how I was and I want your love to continue working on me.

 Form me. 

Mold me. 

Shape me. 

Recreate me. 

Breathe your sweet love into my life. 

Breathe your goodness into my lungs. 

I want to get deeper. I want to see you clearer. 

I am in your hands. 

I am a part of your grand overarching plan. 

I can do great and mighty things in your name. 

Only in your name. 

Because of your name.

 You are Jesus. 

You have all authority in heaven and earth and I surrender to you.
