Soli deo Gloria

This world has nothing for me. It promises fulfillment but its beauty is fleeting. I have tasted the sweet waters from the altar of The Lord. I have been refreshed by just a drop of his goodness. No, I won't give into the temporary joys of this world, but I will surrender my life to spend an eternity with my maker. I want to bring heaven onto earth with my actions. I want to lead others not by word or passion, but by my simple walk with god. I can't save people. I can't. But Jesus can. He's already done it. He's already paid my debt. I'm just returning the favor. By forgoing earthly pleasures for heavenly treasures. By denying selfish ways and seeing where I can show god's grace. To people around me. To my friends and family. To strangers. Random acts of kindness. A little compassion goes a long way. This world would say give into your desires. Give into this temptation. God says just give me you and I'll use you. I don't know where or when or how or why, but that's up to Him to decide. Not for my own story but to God alone be the glory.
