Now I lay me down to sleep

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray that you lord would make it deep. Rest my eyes and hear my hearts cries for you. For I need your touch and long for that rush of your Holy Spirit upon me. Come into my inner thoughts and blot out my insecurities. Let me have no doubts in my identity but let me know my wholeness in you. I know I am yours and I know that my future is secure in you but I get scared in the daily walk where things and conflicts and problems arise. But I know you hold all of them in your hands and that my destiny is not up to chance. It's resting securely in your mighty grip. When my confidence slips, you overtake me and embrace me In your arms. It's just hard sometimes to constantly walk in faith and constantly allow you to work in my mundane. But God, you are there and you are here. I love you. I thank you for your grace. Erase my fears and take hold of my doubts. Pave the path you have for me and guide me along your ways
