Bought with a price.
Sealed by Christ.
I am unworthy of this grace.
I am undeserving of this.
God, you are so merciful and kind.
You're loving and beautiful.
Lord, I am amazed by you.
Not just what you do but who you are.
I can write a thousand words or pray a hundred prayers about the things that you do.
But they can all be encapsulated by this idea that you are love.
Untainted.
Unblemished.
Unrelenting love.
You loved before I even knew you.
You loved before I even thought about you.
Almighty God, your very essence and very being is love.
There is no greater love than the love that you showed us in Christ and his life laid down for sinful, fallen humanity.
Your perfect love casts out fear.
When I am struggling with insecurities and fighting my daily battles, you show me love.
And it's not intangible or imaginary or even theological.
It's personal.
It's real.
It's felt.
It's here.
It's now.
It's you. God, you are the most high God, the supreme good, the most wonderful and exalted YHWH. And you love.
Everything that you do is rooted in this concept of love.
I can't understand it.
It's foolishness to me.
But it's who you.
You love hard and love without condition.
You love me despite my sinful situation.
You don't let me go into perdition.
You don't let me fall into damnation.
Your love reaches me. I might not ever understand it.
I may never fully understand you.
But I love you because you first loved me.
You taught me how to love and what it's like to be in love and what love looks like and feels like. This world has so many skewed up versions of love.
Yours is true.
Yours is right.
You are love.
