The Great Commission

Imagine how many people we could reach if we practiced what we preached.
There wouldn't be a school to train us.
No guide.
No step by step how to manuals.
We wouldn't have to think twice about going out and doing the stuff.
If we lived our lives emboldened and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Instead of relying on our own strengths, we would rest in the power and authority of Christ who boldly sent us out, his apostles.
What if the great commission wasn't just an idea or something talked about?
What if it was something we could actually do, and not by our own merits and capabilities but with the power of God on our side?
What if this Christian life was one wild ride?
A precursor to the life to come.
What do we do with the life after life after death?
Christ has been resurrected.
His power and glory manifest in a single moment which inaugurated a brand new kingdom in which we proudly and happily participate in.
What if instead of wallowing away in self pity and treating life like a memorial service where we simply remember the life and death of Christ, we boldly proclaim that we are new creations, that our old selves were buried in the grave, and that we get to participate in the kingdom of God?
That's the life more abundantly.
It's not wealth, health, and wisdom.
It's that we have God in us.
God around us.
God with us.
That's the power of Jesus.
He's alive in all of us and we represent him to all that we encounter.
That's the power that we have been given.
To live for Christ and to die to sin.
To be ambassadors for the most high Yahweh who made a way for all of us to have fellowship with him.
God loves us.
So much.
And he wants us to live and walk in his promises.
