Let my life be a reflection of you

Make this life a reflection of the good things you have done for me. 

Let me not be selfish in the love and grace that you have shown me. 

That I might l help those who need it.

To empower those defeated. 

To serve the disenchanted. 

To be an advocate to those who have none. 

God, I might not be much but with your help I can do so much more. 

I can touch hearts and speak words of life, but only if you are the one who grants it to me. 

I am a vessel. 

I am a tool. 

If I'm doing it on my own then it's just the social gospel. 

It's just philanthropy. 

You're so much better than a life philosophy. 

You are the God who transforms lives. 

Who reshapes and rebuilds those who are broken. 

I am not the savior. I am not the change this world needs. 

It already has you. 

This world is yours and I'm simply living in it. 

If I can point people to you then I'm doing it right. 

My life should be a reflection of your great love. 

Don't let my words and deeds fall short. 

Let the seeds grow. 

The one who has ears let her here the good news that Christ is come and is still working on hearts today. 

This is no historical Jesus. 

This is a suffering servant. 

A loving Son. 

Someone who laid his life down for us as a ransom for many. 

And that's what I want to do. 

To let my life be nothing but service to you and your people.

 I don't want anything else but to grow closer to you and to help others see you.
